The house was perfect for our 3 generation holiday with plenty of room indoors to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the a/c was in every room and the bathrooms were excellent. The kitchen was fine. Outdoors, the pool was fantastic and there was a good shaded area for eating. The views from the front of the house were beautiful. The house is in an excellent situation, being only about 20 minutes from several beautiful towns, including San Gimignano. It is less than a ten minute drive to several good supermarkets. We did not eat out in Poggibonsi but did have some excellent meals in San Gimignano, Colle di Val d’Elsa and Castellina.

If you are looking for a relaxing group holiday in accommodation that is exceptional, then don’t hesitate to book this villa. Our holiday was an extended family holiday, which I booked on everyone’s behalf, which meant I felt responsible for how it turned out… I needn’t have worried as it was beyond all of our expectations. The villa itself was very clean, it has plenty of room (our party consisted of eight adults, one four year old and a 15 month old). All of our requests were fully met, particularly around a cot and high chair for my youngest granddaughter. The villa was managed by Ville In Italia, who were a pleasure to deal with. Massimiliano, from Ville In Italia provided very clear communications and was always very quick to reply to my questions. I also need to mention House Manager, who met us at the villa along with the owner. She answered all of our questions and made our check-in very smooth. We were late arriving due to a delayed flight, but she was at the villa to meet us even after our scheduled check-in time. She also arranged for the villa to be open three hours after our check-out after I had to return from the airport to pick up forgotten passports. Thanks!
The villa itself has a terrific layout, which maximised the view over the Tuscan countryside, which was to die for. The excellent and roomy infinity pool also maximised these views. The location of the villa is so convenient for plenty of the lovely places to visit in the area. If you book this villa, and I strongly recommend that you do, some nice places to visit are San Gimignano, Volterra, Vinci (excellent museum as this is Leonardo da Vinci’s birthplace), Florence, Pisa, to name just a few. It is advisable to book a car for your stay. Finally, I must just say that our biggest problem whilst we were there was deciding whether to go out and visit places, or just to stay at the villa as it was so lovely, which really is a nice problem to have 😄.

Our stay at Villa Agresto in June 2016 was nothing short if amazing . Representatives were on site when we arrived (even though we were later than expected ) to walk us through the home and explain everything. At one point in our stay there were 12 people staying and there was plenty of room. The rooms are all huge. The bathrooms are better than any hotel . The kitchen is small but has everything you could hope for. The swimming pool was used everyday and we really enjoyed eating late suppers in the backyard. We did not have our own car (we used Blue Car Service in nearby Florence for transportation) but a car is necessary. The nearby town of Poggibonsi is just far enough away, and downhill, to want to walk it. The villa is close to everything in Tuscany . We were able to do day trips to Sienna, Florence, San Gimignano, Pisa and San Galgano . I would highly recommend Villa Agresto !

· Bei der Anreise der Check-In verlief reibungslos und ohne Probleme.
· Haus und Pool waren sehr sauber und für uns in der richtigen Größe und Zimmeranordnung.
· Pool wurde auch unter der Woche gereinigt, was sehr positives registriert wurde.
· Auch die Lage des Hauses war für uns optimal. Kurze Anreise zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten.
· Check-Out bei der Abreise verlief auch ohne Probleme.

My family and I loved Villa Agresto in Poggibonsi. It was perfect! We were able to travel through Tuscany to see so much easily from the villa, Volterra, San Giminiano, Siena, Florence, and Castellina in Chianti. The home was well furnished and the 11 of us were very comfortable in the 6 bedrooms and baths. The large infinity pool was perfect and used daily, the kitchen well equipped and the bathrooms were modern and well furnished. All in all, a perfect location with fantastic views. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. What more could one ask for.

Volevo comunicarvi che il nostro soggiorno presso Villa Agresto a Poggibonsi è stato a dir poco favoloso….. La casa era curatissima al nostro arrivo , la piscina sempre pulita, tutto ha funzionato a meraviglia e ci siamo trovati veramente molto bene.
Volevamo ringraziarvi per l’ ottima sistemazione !
