Couple things to point out about the property, especially for the people visiting Amalfi coast for the first time...the parking is on the side of the road, and that is the case everywhere in Amalfi- the owners offered us a space in a garage, bit due to small spaces and our vehicle being a little bigger by local standars, we parked on the curb (which woked out great).
Getting to the property after you park - is a walk up a steep road and not a short one 😊 - but the view is worth it! It was not a problem for us, but my parents would not have made it up. the owners took our luggage and my parents up in their car.
The unit was stocked with everything- toiletries, toilet paper, soap - everything we needed. It was nice to have a washing machine as well. The owners were very knowledgeable of the area - directed us to nice restaurants, grocery stores, and the Path of Gods, which is quite difficult to find, unless you have a car and someone tells you where to go.
We would definitely recommend this place to all our friends and anyone who wants a weeks stay, away from the crowds in a gorgeous setting. Being able to watch sunset and sunrise from the terrace, eat breakfast and dinner there was wonderful!
The property is located about 2 miles from Positano, 7 m from Sorento, and 45 min from Pompei. From Sorento we took a ferry ride to Capri. There is enough to do in the area for a week.
Regarding the service from Ville In Italia - it was very easy to work with you guys. All my questions were answered very prompty. We actually changed the booking week and the agency was very easy to work with on that as well. The payment system was easy, got all receipts - no complaints. We will definitely use this agency again for our next booking in Italy.
Thank you!
