You provided an excellent booking service and everything went smoothly including the online money payments. The information about the villa and local charges were clear and helpful too.
We loved our holiday and our host, she could not have done more to make us welcome. She was always on hand to help whilst also respecting our privacy during the stay. She kindly left us a delicious bowl of fruit which lasted us all week.
The villa was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The view from our terrace was outstanding and we loved watching the boats sailing by. It was the most peaceful and healing experience. We appreciated the flowers and plants both inside the house and on the terrace.
We enjoyed visiting the Bar Sole and many restaurants in Praiano. The walk to the sea was spectacular and the steps made us much fitter by the time we went home! The lady in the Tourist Information was excellent and helped us with transport details concerning our initial journey and other local excursions. We used the Sita buses to visit Positano and Praiano Marina. We found the local buses less reliable as they didn’t appear to run to the times on the timetable. We hired a taxi back to the airport from the firm in the center of Praianonext to the Tourist Office. The driver was lovely and took us on a pretty route back to the airport.
We adored our holiday so much that we have already booked to return next year. A big thank you to everyone who helped make it so special.

Booking experience; Villeinitalia.com are the best booking agency we have ever used; they are amazingly responsive, helpful in giving advice and willing to contact the property owners to ask questions or make special requests. The service we received from both Massimiliano and Alessandra was outstanding, and made a real difference to our travel experience.

The apartment; Rosa Dei Venti is wonderful apartment in every respect. The view from the terraces is even more beautiful than in the website photos, and we were happy to sit there for hours, mesmerised by the sailing boats on the bay. Inside, the spacious and airy rooms are tastefully decorated with local ceramics, and the equipment in the kitchen is as comprehensive as in any keen cooks home. We really enjoyed cooking the fresh vegetables, fruit and produce from the little shops a few minutes walk down the hill. The rooms all have french doors into the terraces looking over the bay, and the outdoor spaces are furnished with comfortable chairs and loungers. Pretty bed linen and towels make guests feel as though they are staying in a chic boutique hotel.

The landlady; we were made to feel so welcome, from the moment we arrived to find bowls of homegrown tomatoes and lemons from Carolinas garden, and during our stay she brought us eggs from her own hens and a little posy of flowers. She never intruded on our privacy, but was always at hand to answer any questions.

Location. The apartment is on the hillside just above the village of Praiano, midway between Positano and Amalfi, and local buses mean that there is no need at all for car hire. The shops, bars and restaurants in Priano , together with the pretty little beach, are all a short but-steep walk down the hill. Further up the hillside are some beautiful but challenging hikes along the mountain ridges.

Local attractions; the tourist information office in Praiano is definitely worth a visit. The tourist advisor is a local person, and she recommended a variety of attractions and special events. She suggested we attend an open air concert, part of a series, held at the monastery above the village, which was a very special treat, as in addition to the music, there were fascinating frescos on the internal walls of the building.

Summary; we had the most wonderful holiday at Rosa dei Venti, which suited our needs perfectly. We very rarely revisit places, as there is still so much of the world waiting to be explored, however we’ve made an exception and rebooked a week back at the apartment for next year. My relatives have also booked a visit. Villeinitalia.com provide an excellent service, and we will use them to arrange any further trips to Italy. Wir waren absolut zufrieden und werden sicher nochmals kommen!
Die Größe ist für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Die Hauswartin war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Garten und Terasse machen einfach Spass.
Der Blick ist hinreißend. Tatsächlich sind es nur wenige Stufen von der Straße bis zur Casa, die mit liebevollen Details ausgestattet ist.
Und was ich wirklich bemerkenswert finde: Alles ist noch schöner als auf den Internet-Fotos. Das gibt es es sehr selten.

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Urlaub in Rosa dei Venti. Die
Besitzerin war sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und zuvorkommend - was bei
der Schlüsselübergabe im Café anfing und zwischendurch bis zum Ende
blieb. Das Häuschen ist gut eingerichtet und sauber.

We had a fabulous time in Praiano - it was so lovely to go back to Rosa dei Venti.

Like last time the property was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the view from the cottage was just wonderful. We enjoyed watching the sun go down over Capri from the terrace and the little garden which was full of flowers and beautifully kept.

Carolina is a very generous host. She is always on hand to help if needed and left a bowl of beautiful tomatoes and fresh basil from her garden.
I would recommend some new pillows for the bedroom for the next season but aside from that it is a really fabulous place to stay and we would love to return someday.

Rosa dei Venti is ideally placed for walking, with the path up to the Convento San Domenico and Sentiero degli Dei just at the end of the road and it is a steep but quick walk down the steps to the high street. The streets are lined with ceramic plaques and sculptures through the NaturArte Project and there always something to look at!

We appreciated how easy it was to book through Ville in Italia and hope to visit Italy again soon

Rosa dei Venti, à usage totalement intime et privé est le havre de quiétude et de paix idéal.
Durant la première quinzaine de septembre, le panorama époustouflant qui s’apprécie interminablement dans le silence et l’intimité de la terrasse, nous a permis de digérer chaque soir les plaisirs, les beautés et les inévitables affres que procure l’enivrant, voire, l’éreintant tourbillon amalfitain...
Pour se faire servir un dernier cocktail (bien tassé... !) au cœur de Praiano, après une journée des plus éprouvantes, la terrasse du Bar del Sole vous accueillera dans une ambiance sereine et intime qui s’offrira à vous après une distrayante dégringolade d’escaliers et une enfilade de venelles étroites et privées, aussi élégantes que mystérieuses, que l’on emprunte par une petite porte dérobée (dont on a la clef...) directement à partir de la terrasse de la maison.
Heureusement, la remontée s’effectue sans difficulté, dans une ambiance locale et folklorique à l’aide du petit autobus communal qui circule toute la nuit.
Les moins aventuriers pourront se satisfaire des transats et du barbecue placés sur une seconde terrasse (panoramique...) en partie naturellement ombragée, embaumée d’ effluves de thym, basilic, coriandre etc... plantés dans le jardin et divers pots abandonnés ci et là...
Rosa dei Venti qui se situe idéalement entre Positano et Amalfi est parfaitement fonctionnelle, bien agencée et décorée. S’y mijoter une sauce tomate maison avec les présents de la propriétaire (issus du jardin....) procure une satisfaction et un plaisir gustatif inoubliables !!!
Très appréciables, les places de parking gratuit à 5 mn de marche (à plat...) de la maison.
On ne peut clore sans évoquer la sympathie, la gentillesse, les attentions et l’efficacité de la maîtresse de maison, qui vit dans une propriété voisine totalement séparée de Rosa dei Venti.
Avec une irréprochable discrétion, Carolina qui se montre en permanence disponible, vous apportera volontiers son assistance pour vous aider à solutionner tous vos petits problèmes, voire, de plus gros...

We stayed at Rosa dei Venti in April 2014. Our exploration of Praiano and of the surrounding area led us to the conclusion that we had the nicest holiday house in the nicest village on the Amalfi coast! The house is simple but very comfortable with spectacular views along the coast and out to Capri. The landlady was so kind, supplying us with bread, eggs and tuna when we arrived late in the evening without any provisions. Unlike Positano, Praiano has not been spoiled by tourism and retains a selection of lovely little food shops with everything you need for self catering. Also some very good restaurants. Secure car parking was available just above the house - very unusual on the Amalfi coast where parking space is at a premium. Perched up at the top of the village, the house is not suitable for those who can't manage steps (a LOT of them to get down to the village shops) nor for nervous drivers (depending how much you want to explore you might manage using public transport but we felt a car was a must). For everyone else it's an absolute dream. We are definitely planning a return visit."

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Rosa dei Venti in Praiano between 22.09.2013 and 28.09.2013.
I must say the view was stunning, and the welcoming by the owner was more than you could ask for, she even brought us some fresh fruit and vegetables from her garden.
The house itself was very clean and well looked after and felt very homely, and the garden and the terrace made for long evenings outside.
As we are young and reasonably fit, this was not a problem, but for an older person, the stairs of ca; 600 steps from the beach could prove bit too much if you plan to go swimming every day.
That said, the villas location high up on the hill is exactly what makes the amazing view and the tranquility.
We just can´t wait to go back

Es war , wie schon die letzten Male die ich bei euch gebucht habe, perfekt.
Es hat alles ausgezeichnet funktioniert, die Besitzer vor Ort waren freundlich und hilfsbereit bezüglich Informationen.
Die gesamte Abwicklung (Buchung, Bezahlung, Übernahme, ….) hat wie gewohnt hervorragend funktioniert.
Es war für uns wieder einmal ein wunderbarer Urlaub !!

I wanted to write to say how impressed we've been from start to finish with Ville in Italia, and you specifically. You have been so professional, kind and easy to do business with. I always received very prompt responses to emails, and specific and thorough answers to my specific questions. You even went above and beyond your call of duty by giving us detailed guidance about getting back to Naples when we left - we so appreciated that!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rosa dei Venti. It gave us all we were looking for in a villa - a clean, comfortable, simple homelike atmosphere. Our keyholder is extremely warm, friendly and courteous, and it was a pleasant surprise to be picked up in the car by her nephew the day we arrived. The views from the villa are absolutely gorgeous, from every room and especially from outside on the terrace. It was a priority for us to return each day by sunset so we could enjoy our glass of wine on the terrace with the best views possible. The kitchen is very functional and we enjoyed cooking in at least as much as eating out.

Also, we were so glad that we chose Praiano for our stay. With a lot fewer tourists than the neighboring towns, its small and quaint atmosphere, and the fact that many locals do not speak English and we got to practice our Italian with them, we had the kind of authentic experience that we were looking for.

Again thank you, and I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again in the near future - the Amalfi Coast is a spectacular part of the world that I hope to return to again and again!

We stayed in Rosa dei Venti from May 24 to May 31 this year 2008. We absolutely enjoyed the spectacular view and comfortable accommodations. The landlady and her family were very friendly and helpful.
We felt very comfortable and a part of the hillside community of Praiano during our stay. The local markets contained some of the freshest food I have ever purchased. The local restaurants in Praiano as well as Positano were outstanding. Our favorite in Praiano is La Strada.

The close proximity of Positano and its port were convenient. It is easy to take a day trip to Sorrento or Capri, as well as Amalfi and Ravello. The view of Positano from the home is magnificent.
