ERDGESCHOSS: Große Eingangshalle von etwa 60 m2, links befinden sich zwei Wohnzimmer mit Satelliten-TV mit DVD-Player und Stereoanlage mit CD-Player, kleines Lesezimmer mit englischsprachigen Büchern und Klavier, rechts liegen das Esszimmer und die Küche mit Spülmaschine und Backofen, ebenfalls auf dieser Seite befinden sich ein Internetanschluss und zwei Bäder, davon eins mit Dusche.
ERSTER STOCK: 5 Doppelzimmer (von denen einigen in Zweibettzimmer umgewandelt werden können) und 3 Bäder mit Dusche.
Alle Zimmer haben eine Klimaanlage.Die Villa liegt in der Gemeinde Sermide, einem ruhigen Ort 52 km von Mantova entfernt am Naturpark des Flusses Po. Diese strategische Lage ermöglicht es, in höchstens einer Autostunde Verona, Padova, Ferrara und Bologna und in anderthalb Stunden Venedig, den Gardasee und Ravenna zu erreichen. Eine Reise hier ist auch deshalb interessant, weil sie es Ihnen erlaubt, die gastronomischen Spezialitäten und Weine dreier italienischer Regionen, unterschiedlich in ihren Charakteristiken aber alle ausgezeichnet, zu probieren.
Die Villa ist mit Möbeln aus dem 19. Jahrhundert eingerichtet und verfügt über Klimaanlage in alle Schlafzimmern, Satelliten-TV, Computer mit Internetanschluss, Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine, CD- und DVD-Player, Grill und überdachten Parkplatz für 2 PKW; außerdem steht den Gästen ein GPS-Navigationsgerät zur Verfügung.
Die elegante Atmosphäre und der wunderschöne Garten der Villa werden von vielen Paaren aus der ganzen Welt für ihre Hochzeitsfeier gewählt.
An der Seite des Obstgartens steht den Gästen ein privates Schwimmbecken (4 x 9 m) zur Verfügung; nahe bei befindet sich ein kleines Haus mit Umkleideraum, Bad und Außendusche.
Die Verwalter leben in einem separaten, vollständig unabhängigen Gebäude.
Der charmante Ort ist zu Fuß erreichbar (150 m); hier finden Sie Bars, Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Banken und ein Postamt. Entlang des Po (etwa 500 m von der Villa entfernt) können Sie lange Spaziergänge inmitten der Natur unternehmen, umgeben von Flussvegetation und zahlreichen Arten von Wasservögeln.

BFirst and foremost, Villa Castellani di Sermeti is magic. We were a little underwhelmed arriving to the town but the moment we pulled into the gates, we couldn't believe how beautiful the property is.
Once we lived in the house for a day or two, the town and the surrounding areas became increasingly charming by the day. All the locals were very welcoming to us.
The owner was incredible and we are so grateful to have met him. The house itself is immaculate and beyond charming - we both agreed that it was some of the best sleep that we've ever had.
I really hope that we'll be able to return to this property again. The owner and your team were very helpful and exceeded our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay in this great old historic villa and enjoyed the garden and the pool very much. The on-site couple who took care of the house and grounds were very helpful and made our stay most enjoyable.
The owners made themselves available for any requests and in the house there was an abundance of material describing any interesting places to visit in the area.
We would love to come back again some other time.

Je ne vous ai pas dit à quel point nous étions contents de la maison de Sermide que vous nous aviez trouvée pour le mois d’aout dernier. C’est une belle maison, très agréable à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Sa situation nous a permis de découvrir des villes que nous ne connaissions pas. Les gardiens étaient de belles personnes, adorables, généreuses et efficaces.

From the moment our car turned into the drive at Villa Castellani I immediately felt like I had stepped back in time.The Villa is quite grand with a expansive lush lawn. I felt as if I had become part of Merchant Ivory or Visconti film. The interior of the Villa is equally impressive, beautifully furnished and a wonderful marble staircase intended I'm sure for grand entrances. The town of Sermide is a perfect location , a starting point for day trips ,for example: Verona, Bologna & Venice are easy drives . Sermide is friendly Village with charming townsfolk ready to meet new guests in the Village. I can see the Villa as the location for a wedding or other family events other than for use as a holiday stay. The total experience was so peaceful and continues to be so; all I need do is recall my memories of being there.
I am extremely thankful for having been introduced to Villa Castellani and having the experience i did.The Villa is situated in the heart of Mantova and is also amongst the greenery, making for a very peaceful stay. With an ample amount of bedrooms and beds, travelling with a large group has never been so easy. There is something for people of almost every age group and the swimming pool is one of the best feautures of this venue. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone interested in a relaxing time away
VladimirFrom the moment I stepped out of our car, I felt as if I were home. The beautiful landscaping and the park-like setting were breathtaking. The villa's interior was both elegant and comfortable with a great sense of history. Our room was bright and a nicely appointed with an ensuite bath. The kitchen was so charming, with room for everyone to gather for breakfast. It was also easy to cook, so our group could enjoy the spacious and comfortable dining room for those evenings when we decided to shop in the local stores and prepare our own feasts!
There is onsite management of the property, so you never have to worry because there is always someone there to ensure that all your needs are met.
The villa is well-situated and day trips to surrounding towns and cities were easy to make.
My husband and I often felt torn about doing day trips because it meant we had to leave the comfort of this wonderful home. The only tip I have for anyone visiting Villa Castellani is to be prepared to relax and make yourself at home.My husband and I are working our way around Italy's various regions, so we don't often return to a place more than once. But on two separate occasions, we talked eight other friends into going with us to this wonderful villa in a small town along the Po for an authentic italian experience. We cooked together, ate together, laughed together and traveled to amazing places within an hour from the villa: Mantova, Padova, Vicenza, Verona, Bologna, Parma, Modena . . . and many more. Venice is 90 minutes away. Not that you'll want to leave Villa Castellani and the lovely village of Sermide. Set on two acres of private land, with a pool for seasonal swimming, helpful caretakers right next door, this is truly a place of warmth, comfort and history. Five bedrooms and three+ baths make it very manageable for large groups and the outside space makes it feel very much like home. I highly recommend Villa Castellani, owned by the wonderful Castellani family; this is their "country" home, and we are very grateful that we found it. Yes, we will be back again.
